Hey ladies!
Once again, I apologize for being MIA, but it's not by choice. I have a ridiculous mixture of things going on in my life right now and will continue to (good & bad). I miss posting and keeping in touch with you girls VERY much!!!
HOW IS EVERYONE?! This was my "fun free-time pleasure" and it kills me not having time to do it anymore!
WHAT ARE THE NEW BEAUTY PRODUCTS OUT THERE!?! DO SHARE!
I need some help from you ladies too...pretty please :] I am wanting to get more into the skincare thing instead of makeup, since I have so much makeup and NO skincare at all. Your skin is the FIRST thing you should take care of and more important than makeup. I have been lacking greatly in this area. I am realizing how this will effect me in the future and need to take action, IMMEDIATELY! SO, if everyone could please give me some input on some of the best skin products out there to date, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I have zero money to waste (literally zero) and skincare products can be a lil' pricey. I want/need the best of the best! My goal is to prevent wrinkles and have healthy skin overall. I don't have problem skin, just the occasional small pimple here and there. I would say my skin is combination but def. more dry than oily. I rarely have oily skin unless I pack on an oily product :] I guess that would make me normal to dry I guess- who knows! I'm no good at labeling my skin type. I can only describe it! I want to try Neal's Yard products because many girls from the UK seem to think it is the best! PLUS the prices are pretty darn good. I have also read many wonderful reviews on Origins products. Wei East is great but I'm not sure if it is effective long term since I can't find too many people who use her products. I have tried the White Lotus line and loved it, but didn't use it long enough to see results since I ran out of the cream. She is a little pricey for me also since I am pretty broke, but willing to pay for expensive skincare if I know for sure it will be effective. I have a sample of the La Mer cream and have read up on this ridiculously expensive product. Many have said that it has almost the EXACT same ingredients as Niveas cream! CRAZY RIGHT!? It does feel pretty moisturizing but the reviewers are right, the ingredients aren't anything spectacular. Cetaphil is always a great cleanser but don't think it will do much for wrinkle/aging protection. I also am having trouble with what I think might be blackheads on my nose. This is the only part of my face that seems to cause my issues as far as my pores go. GRRRR its so frustrating. I can SEE the enlarge pores on my nose. I try to regularly with my hands squeeze out anything I can (I know that sounds gross) after showering or washing my face. I still can see its not getting everything out though. I think with self-tanner they are getting worse, probably because it clogs them somewhat. They might not even be blackheads, just clogged pores but I am ready to use something regularly to keep them from getting clogged. I can see a difference of some kind (not dramatic or anything) when I use Neutrogena's toner on my nose area AND a mask a couple times. They are still clogged though and I don't exactly love the toner for its drying ingredients. Witch Hazel has some pretty good reviews, has anyone used this? Okay ladies, my time is up and I have blabbed on enough. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT!!!
Thanks so much and I hope everyone is doing well :]

The self-tanner is just tinitng the blackheads making them look worse! :) But anyway I use Cetaphil cleanser and I LOVE it, and as far as skincare products the only 'wrinkle' protection you need is sunscreen...other products simply don't work. Get a good moisturizer and you'll be fine..I personally like oils because they don't clog my pores...Jojoba, Avocado and Morrocan oils are my fav. 'Lumene' is also a VERY good drugstore brand. Goodluck!
Hey Sara,
I love Olay Regenerist! This skincare line is affordable and does not cause any breakouts on me. Also, the products are affordable and you can get coupons at their website. Since I don't have wrinkles, Regenerist works well for me. My face looks luminous in the morning after I use the night cream, it's so nice!
Thanks Ladies!
Aleksis- thanks for the advice doll. I don't think they are blackheads on my nose, I think they are just clogged pores, thats is my only problem spot on my face and I hateeee it! Grrrr! I also love Cetaphil, it works wonderful and its cheap! I would like to start using something for wrinkles especially under my eyes because in our family we all have VERY VERY thin skin under our eyes, which is why our dark circles look so bad. We have Native American in us and its just bad! Never will go without concealer because my dark circles. I am however very interested in these oils you talked about- Jojoba, Avocado and Morrocan, where can I get these and could you tell me how they are used on the skin? I would def. appreciate any help with that! I haven't tried Lumene' but see it at the drugstores. Which skincare items would you recommend with that brand? Thanks again girl and hope all is going well for you!
*Dao- thanks for the recommendation pretty! :] I will have to check it out when I get some money saved up. Hope you are also doing well! ♥
Hey doll! You're back! Yay! :)
Okay, well, I don't know if you've ever tried Clinique but I use the Clinique 3-step skincare system. Have you ever tried that? It comes with soap, clarifying lotion (to exfoliate and tone) and moisturizer. There are different types for different skintones. For example, I use number 3 right now. I tend to have an oily T-zone and dryness in my cheeks and that is which one is formulated for my skin type. I really love it. It helps to keep my skin clear.
I also like Lancome. But lately I haven't been using it... I have a set of toner, exfoliater, mask, soap, etc. from Lancome and it is nice. But I've been using Clinique religiously now, so I wouldn't be able to give you that great of a review on Lancome. But Lancome is expensive, so maybe you'd count it out?
And omg, I know how you feel about the freaking blackheads on your nose! I have them too! And it's so irritating because I don't know what is good to use for them... pore strips don't seem yo work for me. :(
Okay as far as anti-aging cream... I have youth surge by Clinique which is nice and rich and I believe it has an SPF in it. I usually wear it on my face and neck before I go to bed. :) I too am trying to prevent wrinkles and such. lol. I'm starting early I guess!
Hope that helped a tad. Good luck and please let me know what you decide on! Thanks hun! Take good care! xx

Hey hun!
I checked the price on the Clinique 3-Step system, and most of them were about $50. Idk if you had checked or not, but just thought I'd let you know! ;)
But since you're looking for organic skincare, I;ve tried (and still use) Aveeno products. Have you used them? They are also really amazing. I love the soap bars, foaming cleansers, masks and lotions. Pretty much everything in their line, actually. lol. But Aveeno is great!
Also, I myself haven't tried Burt's Bees products (as far as skincare goes... I've used their lip balms and loved them), but I hear those work veeerrry well too from my girlfriends. We have a nice, large section in my Walmart store and they have just about everything too I believe.
Hope that helped! :) Please let me know what you decide on, but definitely check out Aveeno and Burt's Bees! :)
<3 xx
